If you are in Venice and want to visit another country in the region, Slovenia is a great option. This rich country of green areas, rivers and lakes is close by!
In 2 hours and 30 minutes of travel from Venice we will arrive in the capital of Slovenia, the city of Ljubljana. With approximately 2 million inhabitants, the city breathes a young atmosphere full of bars and restaurants on the banks of the Ljubljanica River that divides the city.
We will also stop in Kobarid near the Italian border to admire the emerald green, turquoise colors of the Isonzo River. Where it was the scene of a famous battle in the First World War, the Battle of Caporetto.
